In 2010 Wind-Up Records contacted me to create the album artwork for Finger Eleven's fifth studio album, Life Turns Electric. I liked the concept presented by the band's bass player, Jimbo Black, so much that I began sketching even before the call ended. Within a few hours several sketches and the composition seen here began to take shape.

The band later reached out for the backdrop illustrations at the bottom of this page. A 20' x 20' vinyl banner was painted with special UV paint that allowed the image to switch from the album artwork to the head-on shot of the cyborg with her face plates removed.
